Programs Receiving Funding
- The Fraser Institute's
objective is the redirection of public attention to the role of
competitive markets in providing for the well-being of Canadians.
They are best known for Tax Freedom Day -- the day when working
Canadians have earned enough to pay all of their taxes for the
year.
The Foundation has been a long term supporter of the Institute's
projects and programs, notably the student programs and the B.C.
Report Card. The student programs are sometimes the first exposure
to free market concepts that university and high school level
students experience.
